                  HAPPY THINGS

       Happy things can always be ours

      Like a big bouquet of pretty flowers

      Like the sun shining high and through the trees

      Like in Autumn when the trees they lose their leaves

      Like the big oak tree reaching to the clouds

      Like a kitty on your lap with the soft meow

      I can go on and on about happy things

      The break of Winter and  flowers in Spring

      A waterfall or a gentle lapping tide

      The sounds of the forest and the creatures inside

      The birds and bees and a sleeping bear

      Family swinging on a front porch without a care

      A soft, cool breeze on a hot Summer day

      Children in a sandbox watching them play

      A walk in the park and a ride on the bike

      These are some more happy things I like

       A newborn puppy snuggling to it's Mother

       Babies and parents and sisters and brothers

       You wrap them all up and what do you get?

       Happy things with friends you won't forget
