Governor Spitzer Should Spit out a Resignation Now


People say that prostitution is a victim less crime.  Tell that to Mrs. Spitzer.  I'm sick and tired of political figures addressing the law one way when it comes to the public committing crimes and then trying to live above the law when it comes down to their personal lives.  Then you have those give him another chance advocates who always show up to give sympathy and support as if a man with his political past deserves it.  I don't feel any sympathy for Governor Spitzer. He should have resigned immediately given his level of political popularity.  If he can't hold himself to a moral standard he shouldn't be allowed to hold others to one.

There is no excuse for his abuse of power and privilege. The Bible teaches us there are no big sins and little sins, sin is sin.  Governor Spitzer owes his constituents better and a sad apology just doesn't get it for me. He has also damaged Senator Clinton's Campaign for the Presidency in two ways. He is affiliated through endorsement which is not good, and he has reminded the American public of her Husbands sexual blunders and the weak stature of humiliation she wore during that ordeal. My advice to Governor Spitzer is to spit out a resignation now rather than to let this drag on and have more political throw up regurgitate  and  choke the Democratic  Party  further.
