Many laws actually followed prohibition, put you were right the Prohbition as repealed, as I stated before.
And while Glass-Stengal was repealed (and we know by who), the Financial Services Act was passed immediatly to fill the void, where special powers were granted to Banking that lead directly to the crisis we are in now.

Why? Because in the real world, the law and constitution still apply. You must pass a law that says, the old law is void. No unicorns.
