Moles in the foundation? And, PATIENCE? Have you ever had moles in your foundation, Zed?

The line of chickens comin’ home to roost stretches over the horizon with new ones joining the queue every day! Lookit the Republican Senators’ amendments to the Minimum Wage Bill! And, what’s this malarkey about military aircraft as congressional limos?

Patience? I need a reload -- AND MAKE IT FAST -- DAMMIT, I NEED IT RIGHT NOW!!

Ahhh...yes my dear impatient ones.  Please note that one does not build a heavy structure upon a weak foundation.  Reactionary responses, based on emotion, lies, and fear are weak, and in the long run, regreatable actions.  We can no longer claim that we have been fooled by our elected officials. religious leaders, and or media pundits into giving up our liberties, privacy, and civil rights in the name of fighting the terrorists. 

Those who wish to remain fearful, or exploit the propaganda to remain loyal to the current situation choose to do so purposely, dispite the tide of truth sweeping over this great land.  They will be the ones hopelessly shoring up the remaining walls of a fallen structure, a symbol that long ago lost it's glory.  They will pick through the rubble looking for the spirited away treasures, ignoring the stench, along with the vultures, flies, worms, and other creatures of oppurtunity.  They will look for thier leaders, and find them long gone leaving them disallusioned and unfulfilled in ther quest for a utopia of world domination.  And worst of all, lost and passed by because they cling to some hope that the empire of thier dreams might be revived as it slips away like sand through and open hand,  they turn upon each other, fighting for every scrap of gleem that passes thier eyes.  They now know that they have sentenced themselves to the perverted justice they justified and glorified for others.  Unfortunatly for them they know thier fate,  They have condoned it for others,  they have seen it's result, but no one any longer sees them as victims, but deserving.

Now, you all may see this as some rattlings of a dumb old woman, but I am (well, maybe not all the time)...but I see it as a chance to let them do some of the work by thier own hand to destroy thier "empire".  I think that they, as all ideologs are in due time, are thier worst enemy to a rational thinking person.  Remember, people who stand by an ideology think that they are right, and the more tolarable thier point of view becomes to the world, the more the free expression of thier original motives become pronounced.  They feel that they no longer have to hide thier motives and actions under the illusion of what most people belive is civil, humane, good conduct and judgement.  To make it simple, the ideologs wil try to replace what is truth with thier own truth, and make no bones about it.  Remember, the main reason we can't deny the Holocaust (as an example) is because the evil doers documented it in great detail because they thought they were doing a good thing.

I think that the main thing that stood in the way of this current wave of ideologs is the fact that we can sit down at our computers and find "alternative" information, other than the mainstream media.  We have the ability to find out for ourselves the truth, and spread it to those like minded, and perhaps with enough evidences, help to cure those who have taken a drink of the "Kool-Aid" with the remedy of frank, stark, in your face truth.  This is to say, that as the cracks are exposed in the facade of the grand palace, it is the first sign of a critical failure.  I say to my fellow progressives (and I am sure that my friend "Moron in Charge" is posting the exact same thing) that as the cracks appear, we be ready to exploit them with the wedge bars, chisels, and heavy hammers of truth.  Rescue those who have become unwitting victims, or held prisoner by the lies and propaganda.  Leave those who have seen light, and refuse to turn thier eyes towards it to perish in that in which they have helped to create. 

You know, there is nothing better than to swing a hammer in the vigor of anger.  Let us make sure that we not waste raw power on blind reaction.  Again my fellow impatient ones...do not confuse slow and targeted offense as complicity or compliance.  Do not mistake alliances with friendships..and let us not mistake reactionary emotional responses as rational ideas.  Let us not build our own golden palace on a foundation of clay.

I emplore you to be patient...but keep the feet to the fire.

Oh...and do not fight amonst ourselves. We may use different words to express ourselves, but say the same things.  You know that those who wish to stop this movement have thier own trumpeteers at the ready to exploit any weakness we show to them.  Let us not battle over trivial matters.  It is the many expressions of the same message that reaches those with willing ears, and hopeful hearts.  Keep your hands open, busy supporting each other, rather than balled in fists, jabbing each other.
