| Of the events I just don't "get", having weathermen, anchorpeople or talkers standing in hurricanes for the camera makes no sense. Along with asking coaches stupid questions "what was the key to winning?" Bobby Knight's "scoring more points" was a classic answer. Or the anchors doing the "lite" banter? "haha, Bob thats funny" or talking about their golf game. Crap, they fill up 4 minutes of the 22 minutes of infotainment with fluff. Get serious or show me 4 more minutes of ads, but the rest is crap.

It all started when Anderson Cooper was blown on his ass during Hurricane Katrina. Now that's good journalism! Now every news outlet is looking to send their reporters into the storm to do a 360. |
