I think we need a time capsule for the jokes going around via test message. I am doing this not to be mean but to share with some of the liberals who might not have seen them.
I did right most of these, although one I did create, but I am sure other created it simultaneously as that is the way with anything like this... Great mind thinking alike.
I will warn you that there are others, but some are offensive and deal with things that should never be said about a president. You know what I mean and you understand why I will not reprint them here. I don't need black suited no sense of humor black SUV driving men showing up at my door step. Enjoy...
1. All While people are to report to the cotton fields tomorrow at 6am.
2. The price of gold tripled last night as new of the governments buy was released to outfit the presidential limos.
3. Obama announced today the statue of Liberty will be replaced with the Statue of Aunt Jamima, the Bald Eagle will be replaced with the Jive Turkey, and the national anthem will be replaced with "I like big butts and I don't know why".
4. McCain is calling for a recount. He thinks the machines were nigger rigged.
5. Obama announced today that he did not think he could fix the US economy, but he thinks he can nigger rig it.
6. PETA today called for the immediate removal of all Moose from Alaska as Governor Palin is returning home.
7. As reports of his defeat reached Senator McCain his reaction was clear, "Who are you people and what time is my nap".
8. Things are looking up. Dick Cheney has asked Obama to join him for a short hunting trip.
9. Franklin is on the hundred, Lincoln is on the five dollar bill and this nigger is going on the food stamp.
10. CHANGE- Come Help Another Nigger Get Elected.
11. Due to recent changes, Grape Kool-Aid, Fried Chicken, Watermelon, Malt Liquor and Gold Teeth will be tax exempt.
12. Applebees, TGIFridays and Chili's will now be known officially by their Street Slang name, Cracker Barrels.
13. Racism in America will now be known simply as Election Day.
There are more. I encourage you to add your own so future generations can see that we had a sense of humor back in this time. I'm sure some of you Liberals have more Palin/McCain stuff. Please Please Please add it. Funny is funny no matter who it offends.
One more... Joe Liberman is being kicked out of the Democratic Caucus. that one is actually true.
But what would I know: I'm just an Average American.

| AA... the thing is, most people were telling these kinds of jokes before Obama was voted into the presidency. My Black friend and I laughed as we made these kinds of jokes all along...as if "When Obama gets in...and then the joke". Most of these jokes have been making the rounds for months.

| Indie, I do not fully understand your last post. Could you clarify for me please. And as for the Abuse, I was hoping that you might clarify what I said that was abusive and which part of it you found so very offensive. Certainly it wasn't the word nigger, because we have settled that the word is a part of some peoples heritage and all know how we need to protect heritage. Besides that, these are jokes. they are no more abusive than the screen on which you read them. They have no power in and of themselves. You obviously are still coming got grips with some deep fear that you may be a racist for you to defend so vigorously against a joke. I once felt that way too so I understand. But now that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am not a racist, I no longer get offended by stuff like this. They are jokes, plain and simple and meant only to invoke a smile. |

Go to a large sporting event or any other large gathering of folks (not your KKK meeting though). Then read this little article over the PA system. | I would think that more laughed than got upset as you did. There are many things that you don't say in certain surroundings Indie, but this is not one of those times or one of those places. As for the picture, perhaps you could put it in perspective? When was it taken and where? |
