Facing financial problems?..........SPEND

As the soon to be leader of the free World (For now) and the wizards of smart from both the House and the Senate offer their accesments of our current financial status I am noticing a pattern here.

Spend.

So.... To do my part and show, I too, am a great American Mrs Postman and I will head out today to spend. Our financial situation is precarious like most people but we will be attempting to spend our way out of our deficit.

Might as well spend it before the Government takes it.

What? You do realize the difference between your family and the government, right?

The US govt can borrow and print money. And they have responsibilties to 300 mil people.

Your family is responsible for themselves, and can only borrow what the bank allows (which they're getting tighter about) and you can't legally print money.

Gee Postie you should have waited until the coronation then you wouldn't have to worry about paying your mortgage or putting gas in your tank because the One is gonna take care of you.

LOL - that's funny...

As soon as I get to the bank today, I'll have the last of my Christmas shopping done and I cannot even begin to count the amount of money I've spent. I've shopped online, off line, by catalog, by phone, etc... Every time I go out I see something else that I just "have" to buy.

The good part is, I've paid cash for almost everything so I don't have to worry about getting a lot of bills after the holidays.

My uncontrollable spending is more than likely due to the fact that I've been cooped up in the house for months and months recuperating from an auto accident and subsequent back surgery.

Or at least I hope that's what it's from... I would hate to think of this as anything other than a temporary deviation from reality :)
