CAIRO, Egypt  — Three terrorist bombs hit the Egyptian resort of Dahab at the height of the tourist season Monday, killing at least 22 people and wounding more than 150 in the third terror strike on a Sinai resort in less than two years. (Fox News)

This is the headline today but I like mine better. How many 9/11's do we need to have. Great Britian, Spain, The U.S. and now Egypt. I have probably forgotten others and you can add to this list the attack on the U.S.S. Kole, the first Trade Tower attacks, the Embassy Bombings, the school in Russia and a host of other smaller attacks.

What exactly is it going to take before the people of the world understand that these terrorists want to kill anyone who gets in their way. This is the primary problem with the world right now. I don't care who takes credit for this; Al Quada, those nut bags in Isreal Hasballa, (yes it's spelt wrong, who cares) Chechnian rebels in Russia, they are all on the same team, whether they mean to be or not. They are spreading fear. Well, they should be the ones in fear.

If all the governments of the world, or at least those of us with real military power, the U.S., Great Britian, Russia, China and even the Germans and French got together on the same page about this terror it wouldn't be happening. Once Spain turned and ran, and the U.S. did so in Somalia, we were asking, no, begging for this kind of thing to become common place.

Makes you wonder why a country like Isreal allows this crap in their country. Oh wait, that's because we ask them not to retaliate very hard so as not to offend the surrounding terrorists. "Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war."

Now again, we are faced with Arab on Arab murders, killings, terror. Will these people who share the same face, the same color, the same religion in most cases, be brought forth to righteous indignation or again will we see that the Muslim can stand by and watch silently as his own are killed claiming for them some marterdom in the heaven they seek? Does Alla smile now or does he weep as those who claim to fight in his name bring this injustice on the very people whom he so deeply loves?

Now and only now can we see that the true nature of terror is against all the peoples of the world.  The free and the partially free, the oppressed and the rich alike. Those who stand at idle and mash words about what has caused this action should now have brought to bare on them the blood of another 100 who died as a result of their inaction over the decades to stop this building threat to the civilized world.

Will it be in the final analysis as Churchill said that the world should find itself, "Decided only to be undecided, resolved to be unresolved, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all powerful to be impotent." Or will the fight of man, the drive to survive be awaken in these words of courage, "Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival."

The world received a wake up call this morning in Egypt, a wake up call it would rather not have received. Terror is still alive and well on Earth. Victory need not be worried about any time soon.

But what would I know, I'm just an Average American.
