Dream Act II

I believe that we all want immigration reform but we cannot get to the heart of this great need to protect our borders by honestly believing that we are going to deport 11 million human beings back across the border.  I do not blame any one individual for this mass exodus across our border but I do blame corporations and right wing politicians who are using groups like the Minutemen to provoke hate so they can get their votes and their corporate contributions and continue this shell game.

The fact of the matter is NAFTA and other international agreements are atrocities not only against the American people but all people.  We need to stop being played off against each other because we are German, American, French, Mexican, Spanish or Russian.  What we need to do is understand that in our business community (as exhibited by the business media) NAFTA and the current inhumane system of global trade is considered a success.  Remember, there are many third world country citizens who would agree that NAFTA and other global trade agreements are wreaking havoc on cultures and civilizations across this earth.  If we fall into the trap of repeatedly condemning hungry and starving peoples who are trying to get into this country, then we are playing right into the hands of the MNC's (Multi-National Corporations).

Mexico alone received hundreds of millions of dollars in American military aid, so when the argument is made that internal affairs of Mexico are none of our business than we are fooling ourselves.  This military aid was ostensibly used to fight narco-traffickers but we should understand that 98% of Mexico's wealth rests in the hands of its 2% ultra-wealthy. It would follow and is entirely logical that the huge amount of military monies and equipment such as Humvees and armored weapons are not being put into the hands of some benevolent government, no, what we need to know is that this American military money and equipment is being right back into the hands of the 2% of the wealthy family ruling class of Mexico. Now, we can say that it is entirely up to the Mexican people to correct this deficiency and I would partially agree but if we don't try to understand the inner workings of our neighbors to the South and we continue to allow our present corrupt politicians to continue to approve such aid we are making it almost impossible for the Mexican people to rise up and retake their government and the national resources of their country.  We in effect, need to understand that this 2% ruling class in Mexico are acting as Bush's and the International Corporations of America and the world's proxies.

The corporations are applying the age old tried and true technique of conquer and divide just the way Caesar did to defeat the tribes of Britain and Cortez did to defeat the Aztecs.  This is the way, the corporations are defeating America.  So, don't be surprised when I get attacked for putting out this analysis since there are corporate paid hacks that troll the Internet seeking to keep us divided as Americans.  Hate, is their friend and ignorance is their sword to behead the democracy and representative republic of America.
