This should upset every person regardless of party line. Well I know it won't upset liberals but it should.

We could of wasted a mojority of the Taliban at this funeral but can't, because it would violate the rules of engagement. It's ok for the Taliban to kill people at a funeral and chop peoples heads of but not us. I know the libs will be happy with this decision, especially when they think it's awful to deny a prisoner sleep or use loud noises. Of course we spend billions of dollars to catch these people, lose lives but can't bomb the funeral. It would certainly speed up our exit out of that place. We can't do that, how barbaric, we don't want to make them mad and violate the UN or Geneva convention. We need them and the rest of the world to like us, so keep the rules of engagement. The miltiary states "we hold ourselves to a higher moral and ethical standard than our enemies". Tell that to all the parents that lost sons in Iraq, tell that to 911 familes, tell that to Daniel Bergs family. Chalk up one for the left they should be happy, you should also be happy that the pope caved in and said he was sorry. Remember don't offend anyone and we can all just get along. Let the Taliban go to funerals and for God's sake don't kill them and make sure they have rights to bury their dead. I don't want them to be upset, we should try to sit down and talk to them instead of invading. Tell them we are sorry, I know they will work with us.
WAKE UP PEOPLE contact your congressman and send a message to bomb funerals when 190 taliban fighters are present. Think about it before you spout off so company line. Put your party aside and ask yourself if this makes sense.

Once again you have plainly identified the problem, the game has changed, but we have not. We have to be quick to recognise when the enemy changes direction, moves to a new local or opens his door long enough for us to hit him. But there are rules to the game, we play by them, the enemy doesn't, but by God we will, until every last opportunity has passed for victory. Then the Liberals will line up to offer a cease fire, and a victory will be had for them. NOT! This victory will be handed to the enemy, why, because to them is isn't the end, it's a water break, a chance to refuel, rearm, recrute and replan.
Tonyd, I wish you were there in Congress. McCain isn't going to do anyting to pressure Bush or the armed forces on this one, doubt any of them will start hearings over why we are letting 190 of the enemy walk all out of a funeral alive. But by golly, they will dig into why Halliburton cleared a profit again this year and scream that we are going to charge the worst of human debris with murder and make them pay for their arrogance and the killing of U.S. citizens, even though we might have kept them up a few days and made them walk past barking snarling dogs, they will still get their day of judgement, their chance to speak and be heard, it's more than they deserve. Where was that kind of humanity for the 3000 plus who died on 9/11?
They never had a discussion about Geneva, I guarentee it!!!
