Hmm.....let's see - so this would apply to the NAACP; to catholics, mormans, protestants, etc.; to the boys or girl scouts of America; to.........and the list could go on longer than this web-site could support. Come on Indie - WHAT an unfair statement. These guys are simply testing the waters to see what they can stir up - admittedly. But - about time !!! Asside from the KKK and the Aryan Brotherhood  - both very negative groups - I will admit - how often tdo you truly hear of all white male organizations where you don't also hear about a woman, or some other nationality trying their legal best - with the help of the ACLU - to get in. Good Lord - there are even girls in the boy scouts now adays and girls have their own scouts they can join !!!

You obviously don't understand scarasm/irony.  My point was (and I am typing this slow so you get it) is that AA and others whine about the ACLU, NAACP and other organizations as not necessary, and they are just a bunch of cry babies.  I was turning his/your and your ilk's argument back at you.

I want to invite you to be my guest should this thing ever pan out. I want you front and center so perhaps you will see what I saw in that ladies remarks.

If  an all black or mexican group was forming and I as a white man asked "what their true purpose" was I would be calle da racist in a second. Why how dare I think for a moment that there could be any other eeason excpt those stated for the organization wanting to be put together.

As you mentioned, they shoudl just study so they can get a corporate job and make more than women do for doing the same job, in this you show that not only is racism getting ready to run amok but class envy will be right behind it followed by sexism. This is a microcosm of a bigger issue that we can deal with here at ASU.

And being the main conservative writer in the site does indeed make me the conservative of record. Need I go back and quote all the times I have been referred to as the stone on which you all sharpen your skills, or the multiple times I have heard that the site just isn't that interesting unless I make some claim that festers your brains into action. Nut Case, it is nice to see another of my "ilk" com eoujt to play. This is an issue that will become bigger the the sum of its parts before it is over. BUt I disagree that these guys are trying to see what they can stir up. I think it is a group of men, not unlike those participating in other race baced groups who desire an organization of fellow peers. They say a white man can notunderstand what growing up as a poor black man can feel like, well I would say too that a black man can not understand the shame cast upon every middle class white male born in America as we constantly here how it was people like us that: enslaved, lynched, held under foot, kept women in the house, beat our kids, beat our women, are ruthless and want nothing but money and power, used others to get where we are in life and my favorite, have won lifes lottery.

The pressures on middle class white men are every bit as powerful against us as those that the other races and women must face. The only difference is, we get the blame for all thier problems which probably intensifies our pressure even more than their.

They just have to get out of their situation, we have to stay in ours and deal with the guilt society places on us for staying there and actually having the nerve to want an even bettter life than that we have been "given" according to so many. "Given", while the majority of us hold full time jobs, many two or more jobs, while we have the lowest crime rates of any race, while are the financial back bone of American commerce and are the majority reason that freedom was written into the constitution and are the reason that Americans have any rights at all, it is still said that what we have today was "given" to us.

We were not "given" anything, we earned it. That is why we need these men to organize, so they can surround themselves with others who are working to throw off the shame that is not theirs to begin with, to free themselves from all that they have been taught about how it is their fault others suffer or have suffered.

Women especially are the ones who have practically begged for this to start happening. You just could not stand the idea of men sitting around lieing to each other about the size of the fish they caught or the size of their manhood, you had to get in there and know what they were doing, which by the way we don't do anymore because you are standing there. You had to get into the male military academies to see what ti was like only to drop out because most men can't handle it let alone a female who is not preparred by being a boy for 12-18 years. You had to break into our clubs, our club houses, our Societal Organizations and you had to get women on the front lines for war, something no real man would ever want to see.  To see another man dieing is hard enough, but to see a woman cut down is like watching your sister of mother die, and men know the difference between thinking of your brother, son or father dieing in a fox hole vs. Mom, a daughter or sister. There is a difference in a man's mind and it is far worse to watch a woman die than a man.

Meanwhile women have retained all women schools, girl scouts, Curves and Lord knows how many other organizations that are just for women. And we don't care, that's your gig, we don't want in. You never hear about a man trying to get into a womans organization claiming it's sexist, you just don't, (I know someone will find me the one example out there, but you know that it does not happen near as often as women try to get into our stuff, well used too, we don't have any man stuff anymore that I can think of) becuase we are not interested in it.

White men have all the rights of Black men, do they not? And the same rights as women, do they not? And of any other race religion or creed, do they not?
