As sports enthusiast I watch a little college football. Actually I watch a lot of college football. The one thing that gets me going is the people who rank the teams probably don’t watch the games at all. Example Saturday Arizona plays UCLA, and being from Arizona I know Arizona is a pretty bad team. My question is how is it that UCLA was ranked 7th in two polls? My other question is how does Arizona destroy UCLA? I believe just because a team is unbeaten does not give them a rank in the top 10. Here is a list of teams I believe could stomp UCLA.
#25 North Western
#22 Colorado
#21 Michigan
#19 Wisconsin
#18 TCU
#17 Florida State
These are the teams ranked under UCLA. And their are probably another 30 or so that aren't listed in top 25 that would clobber them.
Now here is a list of teams that shouldn't be in top 12.
#4 Alabama
#5 LSU
#9 Georgia
#11 Oregon
#12 Florida
If we just ranked the top 10 teams by strength This is how it would look.

MY TOP 10
#1 Texas
#2 Penn State
#3 USC
#4 Notre Dame
#5 Texas Tech
#6 Ohio State
#7 Colorado
#8 Michigan
#9 Virginia Tech
#10 Wisconsin

I say to hell with the Bowl Games and let Texas and Penn State go to battle. Best 2 out of 3.

That’s my opinion, probably doesn’t matter too most but what the hell.
