With these words the Messiah himself said in May 2008 that he would meet John McCain anytime, any place.

What happened?

Is this a classic cut & run?

I mean, McCains old and next to "The One" it would be obvious who the better candidate is.

Or..... would it show that Barry is an empty suit that when off the telepromter has no answers?

That when asked questions by average Americans, you know the bitter clingers, that the DaliBama would stutter and stammer his way through his non answers.

I'll give you this much. With all the idiotic attacks made on Obama about his using the race card or being a secret Muslim, or even the antichrist, at least you are going after him with a legitimate issue. He did only agree to 3 debates with McCain, and if McCain wants more, I personally think Obama should be more than willing to oblige. Obama may be a much better speech maker than debater, be he is no slouch in a debate. Listening to McCain, on the other hand, at times is nearly as hard as listening to Bush. I don't know why Obama would limit himself to only 3 opportunities to kick McCain's ass, but you are correct that he is backing away from his "anytime, anyplace" statement. I sure hope McCain gets what he wants -- just like he did when he dared Obama to go overseas.

BTW, this "messiah" and "the one" thing is a bunch of crap, and I believe you are smart enough to know it.

My Friends,

If I had the time, I would post pictures of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, and the whole of the Fox News lineup to present the other site of the MSM lovefest with Obama. It's hard to not see 200,000 people listening to Obama talk when the media accompanies him. It is hard not to see 6 people surrounding McCain at the Sausage House. It is hard for the media not to comment on this. There is a difference between reporting what is actually happening in front of the cameras and reporting distortions, talking points, and propaganda. Perhaps McCain is not being portrayed in a flattering way by the MSM because he is a very unflattering character, at least in front of the camera. Any "charm" he used to have with his 17 previous appearances on the Daily Show is far overshadowed by the slow and angry octagenarian vibe he now exudes.

I forgot the inherent double standard that whatever the issue, "it" -stuttering, a former associate in legal trouble, whatever- is always acceptable from the Republican, but disqualifies the Democrat.

Yes, and there is a difference from reporting the truth behind the cause of America's problems and blaming it on non participants with distortions, talking points and propaganda, too....

I've indulged the heckler with answers to his questions before, and it was an invitation to more reflexive heckling. He never wanted answers to his questions, especially if they in turn called into question his so fiercely held misconceptions. The heckler will do what the heckler is best at: disrupting any discussion with his outbursts. He is best ignored.

Instead of attempting to change the direction of this thread why don't you , like MIC, give an opinion why the Messiah wont meet McCain Anytime...Anyplace.

If, as you claim, McCain is unable to speak off the cuff than you surely can explain the reluctance of the DaliBama to agree to open questioning in a town hall forum.
