The bloodlust that is being seen all over America by some of those who voted for and support this power crazed administration both sickens and saddens me. Wanting revenge for the atrocities that occurred on September 11th 2001 is one thing but wanting to spill the blood of every individual who may hold the same religious beliefs or, in some cases, come from the same general geographical area of those who were supposedly responsible for the atrocity is beyond belief.
Most of those who scream the loudest for the blood of the "enemy" have probably never seen a day of combat in their lives.
It would appear that almost every American accepts, without question, the administration’s version of who is to blame for the attacks. Some question the version of what happened but very few question who did it. I don’t know who is responsible and Bin Laden may very well have been but because those in charge have told me so makes me wonder. Because if this administration tells me grass is green I will start to wonder if maybe in fact it is blue and I am just being led to believe it is green. I have read that he (Bin Laden) denied any involvement 4 times and then the administration came up with the incriminating video which may or may not have been verified.
All this leads to the attitude by some that unfair treatment of detainees is acceptable because "THEY" are responsible for the attack on American soil so anything can be justified. Those who think this way tend to believe that all detainees are there because they are terrorists and want to harm us and therefore have no rights. Again accepting this administrations word that they are detaining only legitimate terror suspects. The fact that this administration has been buying who knows how many of these "terrorists" and it has been proven that a large portion of them have been guilty of nothing does not bother anyone?
I’m sure that I will be attacked for these attitudes because after all "THEY" attacked us, but the bottom line is you should expect detainees to be treated just as you would want our soldiers treated if they were captured and detained by a foreign entity. So if you support water boarding, sleep deprivation and all the rest they you should expect no better treatment for any American soldier who is captured and detained.

Digg It!

All Americans who wish to serve in a public position should now be required to take lie detector tests! Any time the President is speaking to the public on television or radio, he should be hooked up so that if he lies . . . a red light blows up and the world knows! Three lies and your out! And then all the way down the scale . . . hook them all up! Vice president, speaker of the house, Congress men and women! Governors and judges! Make those who wish to serve give up a little of their freedom so that we don't loose ours! It would help solve the "Power attracts the corruptable" problem. At least until they figure out how to rig the lie detectors.
