I read an article on this site today that got me thinking. It was written about the Christians being control. It said something about 56% of Americans voted them (The Christians) into office and how they did not protect us from terrorism. That is not the reason for this article however, only the math part.
As I pondered long and hard I had an epiphany. "I wonder what the percentage on the Supreme Court will should they confirm Bush's latest nominee?" So I got out my trusty calculator and did some basic math. It went like this... 5 divided by 9 equals ... I was in shock, 56%. I thought to myself, is it possible that the majority of voters (56%) were going to represented as a majority on the court (the same 56%) and would be a position to actually uphold the constitution as it was written.
Conservatives have of course tried this before, only to be let down by the nominee after taking the chair. Need I remind anyone of the "swing vote" Sandra Day. But why are the liberals getting so worked up. When Clinton was President he got the people on the bench he wanted, and they were every bit as liberal as this one is conservative.
But I digress, back to the evil Christians and their plan to end the world. What is the problem with Christians being in power. Think about it, the last time they took a stab at running things, I think it was around 1776, they did a pretty good job. They gave us our Constitution, broke us away from England, a good call I'd say. Here's the kicker, and I think is what pisses liberal off so much, they had the fore-site to actually defend those they didn't like. I know, your thinking, "WHAT?!". They added to the constitution this little thing about how we should all have the freedom of religion, that the state (that means the feds for those of you not to much on the bright side) could pass no laws infringing on your right to practice your religious beliefs, even if they didn't like it.
WOW! If these people are so horrible, how on earth do you explain that. As far as I am concerned, the atheist left has had 40 plus years to run things their way. We have been fighting for control since 1994 when the Newt in a moment of sheer genius, developed the Contract with America. It is time we finally consolidate our base, our presence and our newly found majority and govern as we are being asked to by the people of these United States, at least the 56% of them who had brains enough to put us into office.
Come to think of it, don't we have about the same majority in both the houses of congress? If 56% of the Court is under evil Christian control, and they have nearly the same percentages of the House and Senate, and they hold the presidency, the only question I would be asking is, "what took you liberals so long to notice?" We've been gearing up for this day for the last 10 plus years.
What was that old saying about the tortoise and the hare?

Digg It!

Your Tortoise and the Hare comparison is right on target. But I wouldn't give Conservative voters credit that you give them. Most Conservatives that I run in to go into shock when I ask them if they have even considered questioning the medeival beliefs that were forced on them when they were children, such as:
"Sex is bad..."
"Privacy is bad..."
"God knows everything you're up to..."
Not impressive, and definitely not intelligent.
The reason that Conservatives are in power is the same reason that Christianity was able to survive as long as it has: ignorance and plain stupidity among the commoners--with a little parental and educational indoctrination. Do this over a thousand years or so and you'll have some great "geared" up Crusaders ready to take over the United States of America.
Personally, I despise the Democrats and Republicans equally. The difference is, while Democrats are cowards and liberal, Republicans are greedy nutbags looking out for their own interests.
You, Average American, are just that: a commoner. When Conservatives are in power, thanks to voters like you, they get rich and you stay broke. I assume you were one of those guys who said, "You could have a beer with Bush!" Well he's not drinking with you, he's drinking with the wealthy--or as he called them "my base." So please don't bulls*** yourself into thinking that you're a winner too. Again, it's not impressive nor intelligent.
