AA on AA...

Before the conspiracy theories get moving this morning, Mike Newcomb was in the middle of a debate about a subject near and dear to his heart as the 8 o’clock hour approached. Dr. Newcomb’s mother-in-law is currently hospitalized and the debate centered on the healthcare industry.

Dr. Newcomb’s producer asked if I could wait to go on air and as I am an Average American with a job in the real world I was unable to stay later to go on air. They graciously rescheduled me for tomorrow at 7:00 am thus allowing us to have a solid debate on the War on Terror and to give Dr. Newcomb the time he needed to properly cover the topic of healthcare.

So, tomorrow morning the debate on the War on Terror between me and Dr. Newcomb will be broadcast live on 1480 am Air America at 7:00 am.

Only in America could a persistent self-promoter substitute shouting down the opposition for critical thinking and apply non sequiturs in the name of sweet reason, then label it debate.

Have you tried Brucie at KFYI, BAA? Certainly his infantile obnoxiousness is a more suitable forum and the early hour wouldn't crimp your ability to punch in on time.

I go away for a couple of months and come back to find that Average American is a radio star on Air America. It's like forbidden love!

Given your online personality and tenacity, I assume tomorrow's on-air debate will be worth hearing and that you won't disappoint us. We disagree on everything political, but I'll be kind and say good luck to you in your two-hour attempt to rehabilitate us "liberals."

And now AA on AA…! It just keeps getting better and better.

You are certainly the quintessential “persistent self-promoter” as June points out. True conservative values, right? But of course.

But I have to agree with CyrusTheWise when he/she writes “good luck to you in your two-hour attempt to rehabilitate us ‘liberals’." and moderates. The site wouldn’t be nearly so interesting without your feisty defense of the indefensible.

I did not rate this article because it is more of an announcment than your usual cannon fodder.

Yes, as I posted yesterday, good luck to you. It will be interesting to see if Mike Newcomb and Jeff Farias will challenge all or only some of your disproven, outdated, illogical, or fabricated assertions. They do have the internet to perform searches during the commercial breaks, just in case you "stump" them.

I'll try very hard to catch the show and call in. And I will see you next week on the show for debate #2.

Just a little advice because I heard the V of AZ show when you were on with MIC.

You are the GUEST. Newcomb is the HOST. It is he who should interrupt the caller (It is the Mike Newcomb show after all) to ask if the caller has a question. When you did that on your last appearance, you sounded really really arrogant.

Don't misunderestimate AA. He is very confident, and when it comes to facts he takes no prisoners. A really Bill O'Reilly. 'Nuff said.

I'm sure the phones will be lit up, and that's always a good thing.

Just a thought, but I wonder if Lib & Con would like to come on the Voice of Arizona Show sometime and debate me. It wouldn't be fair (2 against 1), but I'm up for the challenge.

This was not self promoting although a few of you read that into it. I was just letting any of you know who were listening why I wasn't on after VofA posted the banner yesterday afternoon. Didn't want any of you to get the idea that I wussed out...

And to clarify, I will be on for one segment, maybe two if Mike likes how it's going. If I lead anyone to think it was two hour I appologize.

And thank to Az moderate for clarifiing that this was just an announcement, no rating of it was necessary or desired.

TO those of you who wished "good luck", thanks. I will be just as encouraging if any of you ever take advantage of what VofA radio on Saturdays has offered of any other format for that matter.

I think the announcement under the banner of this website gave us the idea you were on between 7-9am, not you. And no, I did not think you posted this to brag. When I first came on the show, Michelle asked me to post an announcement here to let everybody know and recruit the listeners/callers. Again, the best of luck to you.

AA, I've been a Limo driver, and worked at the Celebrity Theater 15 years ago. Green M&M's are the least difficult request I've ever had. And the one good thing I say about Sen John Kyl, he can really put people in their place...
