Resolutions.

Some weeks ago I began compiling some New Years Resolutions. These are my personal resolution regarding the country and what I intend to so to be involved in my countries future. While in no particular order, some are more important to me than others but I want to achieve them all.

  1. Become more involved with writing here at VofA by posting no less than one new article per week.
  2. Place more effort into checking backgrounds on the articles I write. As with the work on the book, all facts need to be double checked prior to release.
  3. Educate myself and gain more understanding of the liberal view point. In doing this I plan to quietly observe at least one anti-war rally or other liberal sponsored event in person this year. I have no desire to start a fight by identifying myself and will not be there to do anything more than learn your views more clearly.
  4. Continue to work to educate people on the differences between the Republican Party and the Conservative Movement. Many people are misguidedly under the impression they are the same.
  5. Finish the Website in anticipation of the book release.
  6. Finish the book for release mid-summer 2007.
  7. Continue to work to educate people on the difference between President Bush’s Compassionate Conservatism and True Conservatism which is by its very nature compassionate.
  8. Become more involved with educating younger people about the dangers of falling for the lie that Social Security will be there for them so they will prepare for their own future.
  9. Become more involved with older people and learn all that I can from them before that very real world knowledge is lost to an entire generation.
  10. Become more involved with the Party of my choice to find a position that my talents and abilities will be best used to serve the people as an elected employee of the people.

Now to some of you this as a non-event. I can appreciate that and some of you might even see this as some kind of blustery self aggrandizement on my part and that too I can understand. What I am doing is making sure that those things I intend to do today are obtainable which they are and more importantly, measurable. I will be motivated to move towards my goals by the fact that I have informed you of my plan and I know this group will continue to push me to either achieve these goals of abandon them, both of which will motivate me to succeed.

I am just an Average American, but perhaps I can motivate few of you to become more involved also.
